Zenz designed and built everything up from the gutted shell of the Clapham premises. Finnish birch ply was used extensively throughout, along with much blued, waxed steel. The progenitor, a small pizzeria in Brixton Market was refitted in a development of the style a few years later, introducing custom-formed plywood and cast aluminium elements.

In 2008, a new Eco also designed by zenz opened in Chiswick, London.

Fibonacci spiral bottle rack The wine bottles cantilever from their necks which are embedded in a stainless steel rack whose holes are arranged in a Fibonacci spiral, centred on the top left hand corner. Adjacent are carved birch ply shelves resting on cantilevered supports.
